She was a young woman with a dream to develop the series of videos on the internet to examine the gender representations in games. But, she was the victim of online harassment. This attack was not enough to deter her. In fact, it strengthened her commitment as a feminist and media critic. Her notable contributions to the field of feminists have been recognized by numerous prizes. Anita Sarkeesian has been a journalist for a long time and was the creator of Feminist Frequency. This educational non-profit explores the role of women in the pop-culture narratives.
